PumaPay Development Updates: Message from the CEO
As you know, we have recently launched Verion 2.0 of the PumaPay PullPayment solution. The release includes PullPayment Smart Contracts (with one-time, as well as recurring PullPayments already running on the Testnet), SDK, and the fully revamped PumaPay Cryptocurrency Wallet app which accommodates these features.
Implementing recurring payments on the Ethereum network for the first time ever has been a challenging task, and I’m proud of the team who have made it happen. That said, our journey is not over, and we have lots of other features to deliver. Among them – the PumaPay Pride, envisioned as a merchant directory to allow crypto holders to easily find businesses that accept PumaPay tokens. The PumaPay Pride will provide businesses accepting the PumaPay Token as a means of payment with additional exposure to the growing crypto community, as well as the possibility to market their products and services to this young and affluent customer group.
While we remain committed to this powerful tool, we have prioritized development of other features of our solution, such as wallet support for popular non-ERC20 coins (Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin etc), in-wallet crypto-to-crypto conversion, in-wallet funding (the ability to purchase PumaPay tokens without going through the process required by crypto exchanges), and others. As we hope to make these features available by the end of 2018, the tentative launch of the PumaPay Pride has been postponed to early 2019.
Soon, we will be sharing an updated Roadmap of upcoming PumaPay releases, outlining our plans for the next 10-12 months. Apart from staying true to the plans that have been presented in the original White Paper, we are developing additional features that will hopefully help us make convenient crypto payments the stuff of daily life. Stay tuned!
